Puppy Health and Compatibility Guarantee
1. Buyer has the option to take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 5 days of purchase for a health check-up. If the puppy is found to be in poor health, the puppy will be replaced.
2. The puppy is guaranteed against infectious disease for 10 days from the day it leaves our care. Any illness after this ten day period would be the result of exposure to the illness outside of our kennel. Our puppies are sent home having had their initial set of puppy vaccinations. Follow-up booster vaccinations after the initial vaccination will help to protect the puppy from serious, life-threatening illnesses such as the Parvo virus.
3. Puppy is guaranteed from inheritable genetic disorders for two years. Inheritable genetic disorders include Hip Dysplasia, Legg-Calve Perthes, Luxating Patella, Primary Lens Luxation, Hereditary Cataract, Ataxia, Von Willebrands, Aortic Stenosis, and Myasthenia Gravis. Health of our dogs is a foremost concern. For this reason, our dogs and their ancestors are researched for genetic disorders prior to being placed in our breeding program. If an inheritable genetic disorder is found in a dog during this time period, the owner will have the option of returning the dog to the breeder for a replacement.
4. The puppy comes with a compatibility guarantee. If for some reason you do not like the puppy after meeting it in person, the puppy will be exchanged for another.
5. If for any reason an owner is suddenly unable to care for the puppy, regardless of its age, we welcome the puppy back home.
*If the puppy is shipped to a distant location, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to cover shipping expenses in returning the puppy.
Buyer's responsibilities...
1. It is the buyer's responsibility to have the puppy vaccinated against communicable diseases, rabies and place the puppy on heartworm and flea preventative under the direction of a licensed veterinarian. Wind Dancer Russells will not be held liable for the owner's neglect.
2. The buyer declares that he/she is not affiliated with a pet store or puppy brokerage in any manner.
3. Puppies sold on a *spay/neuter agreement are required to have the procedure done by a licensed veterinarian on or before 6 months of age. Failure to do so will render all guarantees null and void.
