We spend hours researching breeders and pedigrees before acquiring a dog. Each of our dogs are brought into our home as a family member first and a potential breeding prospect second. We only have a few litters each year, and each breeding is carefully planned. Our ultimate goal is to produce healthy dogs with correct conformation, wonderful dispostions and which are a joy to own and love.
All of our dogs spend time both inside our home and out in the sunshine. We are situated on 60 acres of land in the country with large oak trees and a large pond. Our dogs love to roll in the grass and swim in the pond. None of our dogs are "kennel dogs" who spend their entire life in a kennel. We have purposely kept our program small in order to ensure that each of our dogs gets the individual attention they deserve. Every litter is born and raised in our kitchen where each puppy is handled and loved on daily.
Jack Russells are very intelligent. They love to be the center of attention and our dogs are no different. They have yet to meet a stranger and though they will bark ferociously at night if they hear a strange noise or see a strange shadow, they would gladly escort an intruder in! They are not definately not guard dogs!
