Welcome to Serendipity Jacks, formerly known as Wind Dancer Jacks! Having recently returned to the US from veterinary school at Ross University I am now finishing my final clincal year at Texas A&M. Married in 2009, I introduced my husband, Ricky, to the breed and he fell in love with them just as I have been for over ten years. We made the decision to continue with the breeding program on a small and selective scale and renamed the kennel Serendipity Jacks as we feel that our dogs are little blessings. We will continue to breed the original 10"-12" English Jack Russell Terrier commonly referred to as a "Shorty". The old-style English Jack Russell Terriers, or UKC recognized "Russell Terriers", are extremely intelligent with dispositions that tend to be much sweeter and calmer than the long-legged or "Parson" type Jack Russell. Our dogs' pedigrees contain generations of selective breeding and feature Irish, South African, English and Austrailian bloodlines from some of the most respected kennels.
Our breeding program is small and we raise only a few litters per year. We breed for quality not quantity, working to produce dogs that have correct conformation and wonderful dispositions. Each of our dogs is considered a member of our family and every new owner is an extension of this family. Our commitment to our dogs and extended families continues for the life of the dog.
